Anxiety Therapy

A racing heart, a racing mind, sweaty palms, knots in your stomach, and an uneasy feeling… sound familiar? Anxiety can come out of nowhere and completely throw off your entire day. Often, people do not fully understand where their anxiety is stemming from – only that it tends to take over their lives. Together, we will work to uncover what is causing your anxiety as well as explore and practice various ways to manage anxiety.

Depression Treatment

Here we are, yet again, lying in bed completely unmotivated to move. There are so many things to do… I know, but I just can’t bring myself to get out of bed today. Sometimes I want to cry, sometimes I feel numb, and sometimes I feel angry. Although depression can feel like all is lost and there is no hope, we are here to support you through it. We will support you in building the skills needed for you to be able to live a positive and productive life without depression taking you down.

PTSD Treatment

Living through a traumatic, life-threatening event often leads to Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). This can lead to a person reliving the event repeatedly in their head, experiencing fear in specific settings, flashbacks, nightmares, and/or severe anxiety. The process of working through the traumatic events which led to PTSD is not pushy, rushed, or forced. The counselor will meet you where you are at and will explore the things that you are ready to explore. Your counselor will work with you to ensure that you have the tools and resources to ensure your safety throughout the process.

Parenting / Postpartum Depression

Do you ever feel like what you do for your children and your family is not enough, not good enough, or like you just can’t keep up? Some days, you may not even want to get out of bed at the thought of all the things that need to be done and the challenges you may face throughout the day. Whether you’re a brand-new parent or you have multiple children, postpartum depression and parenting challenges may be an experience you have. Maybe daily, maybe here-and-there. During your sessions, we will explore your concerns together and determine the best course of action for your individual situation.
